The Employers of National Guard and Reserve program is offering a new opportunity for military spouses. For the first time, military spouses can nominate their employers for the Patriot Award.
Nominations for the Patriot Award were previously open only to Guard and Reserve service members to nominate their employers.
However, after learning of the growing number of employers with supportive initiatives for military spouses, ESGR added nominations for spouses’ employers, who are not legally obligated to provide the same support as they do for their Guard and Reserve employees. This award acknowledges the contributions of military spouses and the employers who support them.
